The 400 Year Prophecy

Many have guessed, many have wondered... what is the difference between the 400 Year Prophecy mentioned in Genesis Chapter 15, and the 430 years spoken of in Exodus Chapter Twelve? There are positively connected!

Exactly 430 years before the Exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt, YHWH spoke to Abraham:

And He said to Aḇram, "Know for certain that your seed are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years. But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions. Now as for you, you are to go to your fathers in peace, you are to be buried at a good old age. Then, in the fourth generation, they shall return here, for the crookedness of the Amorites is not yet complete.  (Gen: 15:13-16)

At the time this prophecy was given, Abraham was 70 years old, and he had no seed, but 30 years later...  Abraham's seed, Isaac, was born, and the 400-year prophecy began.

True to YHWH's Word, at the end of 430 years from the time YHWH gave Abraham the 400 Year Prophecy... YHWH had prepared Moses to bring His people out of Egypt.

And the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was 430 years. And it came to be at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on that same day it came to be that all the divisions of YHWH went from the land of Egypt. It is a night to be observed for YHWH bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This night is unto YHWH, to be observed by all the children of Israel throughout their generations (ex 12:40-42)
